I grew up in an artsy household with a single mom who was super smart, but not good about managing her money.
As a teen I regularly needed to navigate our phone service being cut off (usually because she had forgotten to pay it).
As an adult I easily internalized the nobility of the starving artist, quickly translating it into a blocking belief about money and spirituality being mutually exclusive.
The road to rebuilding a respectful relationship with money has been winding.
But having a business I love, a supportive partner and building my dream home in the country signal that big shifts have happened in my money friendship.
The idea that everything is energy holds as true for how we relate with our money as for anything else in our world. All real change happens inside-out at a quantum level, in every area of our lives.
